Because the Conservatory here at Ravenscroft Castle is one of the sunniest and most pleasant rooms in the castle, this is where Madame B. often gathers with her family and friends for afternoon tea and a cozy little chat.
Writers spend so many of their waking hours all alone day in and day out that whenever they get together with company, they tend to become rather boisterous --- talking, laughing, and having a quite a jolly good time.
As a result, I have to confess that, sometimes, I'm terribly tempted to eavesdrop on the conversations in here. But of course, I never do. That just wouldn't be at all proper!
The Conservatory is currently closed to the public.
