The Ravenscroft Village Post Office is typical of those to be found throughout villages in England. The building dates from the seventeen hundreds and was originally a cottage.
Sometime later, a small postal annex was added at one end (note the postal door and window, and the cylindrical red postal box out front). The Post Offices boasts a thatched roof that will last for many years, and pleasant grounds filled with trees and flowers of all kinds.
